Last week, I posted a Giveaway for Gorton’s products, and mentioned that I was planning to make this recipe, but that my local grocery store was out of the products I needed, due to Hurricane Sandy. Well, today I was back at the store and they had what I needed, so I bought all of the products and made this for dinner tonight.
The family loved this dish, and can’t wait to have it again. In fact, there are NO leftovers! For next time, I would use a larger pan to cook the shrimp and broccoli in, and I would add the pasta to the pan to absorb some of the sauce as well before serving. With growing boys in the house, I might also double the recipe to fill them up, and have some leftovers for lunch the next day.
- 12 oz Gorton’s Scampi Sauced Shrimp
- 8 oz broccoli florets, frozen
- 8 oz linguine, prepared
- Combine Gorton’s Scampi Sauced Shrimp and broccoli in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook 10-14 minutes, stirring occasionally, serve over linguine and enjoy!
Logan wanted everyone to see how much he loved it…can you tell that his little face is covered in sauce from where I caught him licking his plate clean…? LOL
