Winter Pet Care

Winter Pet Care When the weather changes each season, it's important to make sure you make any adjustments in the care of your pet, just like we as humans adjust the type of clothing that we wear. Winter Pet Care, especially in areas where the temperatures plummet, is especially important. Joint Treatment: Cuddles, like me, has joint issues. The cold weather makes her stiff and can cause her pain in her joints. We give her hip & joint "treats" once per day to help alleviate her pain. If it gets too bad, we have a prescription medication from her vet that…

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance®

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance® Most of you are familiar with our pets, Bella and Cuddles. Recently, while I was sick myself, it seems Cuddles was bitten by a tick. We spray our yard frequently with Bug Prevention Spray that treats for ticks and other insects. We also use Flea and Tick Prevention on Cuddles, after she is groomed each month. However, we live in a wooded area, with a good bit of wildlife, these ticks are determined, and one successfully found it's way to Cuddles. We saw it, and used our tick remover tool to remove it. We thought we'd…

Milk-bone Dog Treats 3 Back-to-School Morning Routine Tips For the Whole Family #milkbone

  Milk-Bone Good Morning Dog Treats By now, most of you know that we adore our dog, Cuddles. We adopted her several years ago from a Pet Rescue, so we're not exactly sure what breed she is. We do know that she's had some issues come up that are commonly associated with a few breeds, that we think she may be part of. Just like with our children, we look for products that we think can help them. With Cuddles, we've been giving her some Milk-bone Good Morning treats for over a year, that seem to help alleviate some of…

Pet Costumes

Pet Costumes Pet Costumes are so much fun! I know a few people whose dogs are NOT A FAN of being dressed up, but others whose dogs LOVE IT! They prance around showing off, and really seem to enjoy going out trick or treating with their humans, and have people fawn over them while they're out and about. Cuddles would fall into this category. The ladies at our local CVS get a huge laugh each time I take her with me through the drive thru. She whines really loud until they stop what they're doing, and reach out the window…

Pampering Cuddles at Petco! #MM #PetcoGrooming

This blog post, Pampering Cuddles at Petco, is part of a paid Megan Media and #PetcoGrooming blogging program. The opinions and ideas expressed here are my own. Cuddles is the Princess of our home. With three boys, a cat who loves one of them and tolerates the rest of us, Cuddles is the only female in the house that enjoys the frilly side of life. She gets SO excited to go on a car ride. When we get to our local Petco, her tail wags furiously, and she can't wait to get inside to be adored and loved on by…

National Walk Your Dog Week (October 1-7)

It's almost National Walk Your Dog Week (October 1-7)! I had to take my dog to the vet today for her regularly scheduled checkup. She is not a fan of going to either the vet or groomers, both of which she see's regularly anyway, and as you can see from the photo above, she chose to sit in the backseat pouting the whole way home, refusing to even look at me :) Do you walk your dog daily? Multiple times per day? Just long enough to do their business, or a longer walk around the block? How long do you walk…

#NutrishForCats Dinner for Two #Sponsored #MC #Giveaway {CLOSED}

“I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Nutrish for Cats. I received a sample of Nutrish for Cats to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.” We have had our cat, Bella, for over 7 years. We love her dearly, she loves our oldest son, Aaron, and tolerates the rest of us. He is her person. She spends the vast majority of her time in his room, only occasionally walking around the house to glance at everyone else. We treat our pets like members of the family, but Bella sometimes gets…
