We had Easter dinner at my sister-in-laws. I didn’t do Easter baskets this year, opting instead to give my kids and husband a big chocolate bar with a gift card or toy as they are not big on other candy. We also did a small egg hunt in our front yard.

Well, normally it would involve church, family dinners and egg hunts with the kids. But, this year, due to schedules, we didn’t have the kids, so we stayed at home, had prayer time, took the dogs for a 2.5 mile stroll and went out to dinner. =)

We spent Easter having a quiet week-end together getting outdoors – hiking, gardening and visiting with neighbours. My husbands family lives too far away for us to spend it with them and my family was away. It was nice though to have the long week-end together.
